
Katherine Goldman is an actor, singer, and teaching artist. She received her BA in Theatre from USC's prestigious School of Theatre (now School of Dramatic Arts), where she studied musical theater performance and theater in education. She grew up in the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area doing musicals, and returned to the area after college. She has been performing through Northern California for the last five years.

While in Los Angeles she worked with Tony Award winners Jason Robert Brown (performing original JRB music) and John Rubinstein. In 2010, she toured internationally with Spider Baby the Musical, performing in Toronto, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. After graduating from college, Katherine spent a year working with California Theatre Center (CTC) as an actor and teaching artist. She performed in six shows and toured to thirty cities in four states. Highlights included playing an energetic elf in The Elves and the Shoemaker, a clever kid in Miss Nelson is Missing!, the thoughtful Fern and chatty Goose in Charlotte's Web, and others. She also taught for their conservatory and music directed several of their camps.
Katherine is classically trained as a soprano (range to high C) and in contemporary pop/rock belting (to high E). She was a founding member of the contemporary a cappella group KP Acappella in college and performed with USC's elite Concert Choir. She recently sang in the 100-person choir for the San Jose Symphony Orchestra's live-to-film concerts of The Lord of the Rings, singing first soprano.
Katherine loves her work as a both an actor and a teacher, and plans to bring her passion for theatre to Boston's Emerson College, where she will begin grad school in September 2016. She is pursuing a Master of Arts in Theatre Education.
