Hello!Katherine is a passionate and collaborative theatre teacher with experience in public and private schools.
She is dedicated to creating welcoming, safe spaces for students to develop creativity and confidence through arts integration, social justice, and multicultural education. A Bay Area native, she has recently moved to the greater Sacramento Area after five years in Houston, TX, with great excitement to return to her roots in California. Right now...She recently finished her second year as Theatre Director at Pin Oak Middle School, where she directed two UIL-Advancing plays, two musicals, ten class productions and two student directed theatre festivals.
In addition to teaching, she was a company member with ComedySportz Houston. where she worked as a professional improviser, house manager, sound and lights operator, and production announcer. |
